Helpline Cataract Program
Helpline Social Welfare Organization has successfully carried out a monumental initiative aimed at restoring vision and transforming lives across Pakistan. Collaborating with Hasene International, the organization orchestrated a commendable effort, conducting a total of 500 cataract operations throughout the country. The comprehensive project not only addressed the critical need for eye care but also alleviated financial burdens for individuals who may have otherwise struggled to access these essential services. The initiative encompassed a holistic approach, offering free three-eye checkups to identify those in need, followed by complimentary cataract surgeries, including the provision of free lenses and post-operative medicines. The 500 individuals who benefitted from this initiative are now equipped with the gift of sight, enabling them to lead more fulfilling and independent lives.
